A former NCAA Division III student-athlete at Anderson University in Indiana, Gabe Miller comes to Loras after two seasons as the assistant coach at Judson University in Elgin, Ill.
Under Martin, Miller serves as the primary recruiting coordinator as well as oversees the strength and conditioning program.
While at Anderson, Miller helped the Ravens to a conference championship and appearance in the NCAA Tournament. In addition, Miller was a two-time All-Conference selection and ranks in the top-10 all-time in career assists and steals.
His additional duties include serving as the head men’s golf coach during the fall and spring seasons.
Miller, along with his wife, Erika, reside in Dubuque.
After seven seasons as an assistant coach at Wartburg, Oswald spent one season as as a Player Development Intern for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association before transitioning back to the Division III as a member of Chris Martin’s staff prior to the 2016-17 season.
Oswald graduated from Wartburg College in 2010 with a degree in fitness management. While at Wartburg, Oswald spent two years as a student assistant coach before transitioning into a full-time role following graduation. In 2014, Oswald completed his master’s degree at Ohio University in coaching education.
Under Martin, Oswald’s primary responsibilities include player development and opponent scouting.
A native of Monticello, Iowa, Oswald and his wife Kendra, and their daughter, Hailey, reside in Dubuque.
Jon Aldridge joins Chris Martin’s staff for the 2017-18 season after spending the last two years as both a high school basketball coach and strength and conditioning coach.
A native of Plainfield, Ind., Aldridge graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. While at the UIndy, Aldridge studied abroad in Belize where he promoted health and fitness.
Most recently, Aldridge served as an intern for the strength and conditioning staff at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. There, Aldridge aided in the supervision and training of the Temple football program along with other administrative and maintenance duties.
From 2014-17, Aldridge served as the varsity assistant basketball coach at the Park Tudor Schools in Indianapolis, Ind. While there, he helped coached the Panthers to back-to-back Indiana 2A State Championships.
